The word "cherish" came to mind when I asked this stone what it needs. Cherish is defined as, to hold dear, feel or show affection for, to nurture. Cobaltocalcite reminds us that the Earth Mother needs to be cherished, just as She cherishes us.

On a more personal level, this stone can help you to get in touch with your feelings or emotions, to become more open to emotions and unafraid to show them. It reminds us to nurture ourselves and those we hold dear.

I use cobaltocalcite in ceremonies where we are honoring the Earth.
